Rainbow College of Education located at Pudhuchatram in the Salem-Namakkal National Highways [NH-7] and is being managed by Rainbow Educational Trust [RET]. The Institution situated and lies on the Highway towards Salem and Madurai. The College is having enough spacious Class rooms well furnitured. The Department wise Science Lab is equipped with all kinds of Apparatus, Chemicals, Specimens, Charts etc., The Psychology Lab consists of all the test & measurements like Verbal, Nonverbal, Aptitude, Personality tests and written test materials etc. The Educational technology lab, Audio-Visual Lab, Language Lab and SUPW labs are having enough computers-AVE equipment-Lingua phones and raw materials for making socially useful products. The College has a fully furnished Multi-Purpose Hall with a seating capacity for 200 students. The seminar hall is being utilized regularly for conducting seminars and guest lecturers. A spacious meditation hall is provided for the benefit of students and staff to enable them to meditate in a quite and serene atmosphere. It helps the students and staff to relax.
The College premises have purified good drinking water facility in each floor of the building. Well maintained sufficient clean toilets and urinals for boys and girls separately and teachers separately. The campus has well established canteen, play ground, gym, etc. We have arranged Mineral Water for the Faculty Members and students at all times through R.O. System plant. We are giving fee concessions to the poor class students those in need.
Beautifully structured, spacious with good seating arrangements library for reading is available with plenty of books. The books are catalogued as per library studies and students are provided with library cards to access the books periodically. The library is open through out the college hours. Our library is attached to a well connected internet facility for the students' reference during the college hours. Reprographic facilities such as Photocopier, Printer and CD Writers are provided to the students at nominal rates.
Our Library is volumed with more than 5500 Books. Monthly more than 5 journals of Education and different subjects are subscribed. 3 dailies in English, Tamil languages are made available to cater to the needs of different sections of student community.
The students can access a large range of books both in Educative and Entertainment fields.

Hostel facilities are provided for men and women students separately. Both Vegetarian and Non-Vegetarian dishes are served. Extreme care is taken to provide Balanced, Nutrious and Hygenic food for the Hostlers. There are two separate hostels available for both boys and girls. Round the clock water facility, good studying atmosphere and clean surroundings are the added quality in Education for Hostel students. Special care is always available for sick students and permanent vehicle is provided to Hostel for physician checkup. To have a contact with parents twenty four hour phone facility is open for students. The students are trained in their mind setup that they themselves are their own guardians.
The total built up area of the infrastructural facility is about 29,500 sq. ft. The total area of the institute is one Acre.
